Locations of the Barn Quilts/Routes
  • Ensure safety and compliance
  • Develop directional and site signage
  • Recruit property owners
  • Consider strategic locations throughout the county

Fundraising
  • Develop a budget of required funding
  • Research funding opportunities
  • Apply for funding through identified sources
  • Monitor spending to meet grant guidelines
  • Evaluate each grant for cost versus value

Publicity/Marketing/Website
  • Set up publicity/marketing budget
  • Develop a media kit and list
  • Develop a marketing calendar
  • Compose and send timely press releases
  • Maintain/update a web site

Design of the Quilt Blocks
  • Maintain block designs and color schemes
  • Work with Quilt groups in the County
  • Encourage participation of youth groups

Logistics (building, painting, mounting)
